Bass Tableau Help needed

greetings,
i programm the bass on a midi keyboard or a synth but didnt find out how to transfere the bass tablatures in keyboard keys,yet!

would be great to get some explanation

Hello,
each line represents a bass string starting by the bottom (E, A, D, G).
Digits represent the offset in semitones between the note to play and the note of the open string.

In your example  Police in helicopter :

G-------------------------------------------------
D-----------------------2--2-2---2-2-2-5-5-2--
A---0--0-0-----0-2-0----------------------------
E-------------------------------------------------

First digit is 0 on the second string, as the string is a A the note to play will be A (A + O semitones).

5th digit is 2 on the second string, so A + 2 semitones = B

7h digit is 2 ont the third string, so D + 2 semitones = E

etc ...

I hope that you will understand what I want to say,  sorry for my bad english.
